Verbatim theatre is a form of documented theatre in which plays are constructed from the precise words spoken by people interviewed about a particular event or topic.

Myths from different regions, originating from the deepest parts of each culture, should inherently be distinct from one another. Yet, even comparing Cinderella to the ancient Chinese story of “Shun,” both convey the fantasy of a divine benefactor altering one’s destiny. 

In the era of immigration, narratives that cross linguistic barriers can connect immigrants from different times. Changes in language always signify the evolution of culture in various political and cultural contexts.
